Eckstock, you did it again. What an amazing day!
For those in dark about what the fabulous and amazing Eckstock is, here's a quick low down. Eckington is a lovely village just outside of Pershore where a group of amazing and hard working people put on a yearly festival. The day always has great bands, great food and more than a few great little tipples to go along with it. Entrance this year was a fiver which gets you in all day and there are two stages to enjoy. The live music never stops and there are always plenty of stalls and games to keep the kids amused.

Here are my top five highlights of the day:
1. Flower Crowns
For £3.50 you could make real flower crowns!! The ladies on the stall were super helpful and the crowns were really easy to make. They looked great too! It was so sweet to see a crowd full of people with beautiful flower crowns everywhere. Everyone looked fabulous and a huge thank you to the lady who helped me out when I accidentally stuck floristry tape to my own hair....
2. The Tea Tent
2. The Tea Tent
You could have high tea! If they do it again next year make sure you get in there quick folks, they sold out! This fabulous little tea tent was so lovely just to sit in. The tables were covered in bright polka dot table clothes, your eyes could gaze at super cute picture of Alice in Wonderland and all whilst munching on yummy homemade cakes. This tent was such a treat! You still hear all the bands and watch all the excitement, all whilst sipping a lovely cup of English Breakfast. I hope to see this next year!
3. The Gettem Inn
3. The Gettem Inn
I'm ashamed to say I didn't get a single photo of the inside! But to be fair, the bar was always packed so it would have been tricky to get any photos anyway. The bar was inside a Victorian big top tent draped in lights and tie dye banners, it also had the second stage inside so it had a great atmosphere. Huge thanks to the Bell for organising the bar, from what I saw the Pimms was exceptionally popular. Affordable too! This was my favourite hang-out spot of the day, I was often found skulking in here taking pictures of people and watching kids dance. The second stage was a new addition this year and it was a great one! It meant the music never stopped playing, doubled the value for money on how many bands you saw and gave a great place to boogie on down!
4. All the dogs!
4. All the dogs!
All the pooches! This festival had music, cake and dogs. What more could I ask for?
5. Where's Martin?
5. Where's Martin?
These guys never let me down, they bring an amazing show of feel good, belt em out tunes for the entire set. People were instantly up singing and dancing, these guys don't just make the party, they ARE the party! They got the whole crowd up and dancing from start to finish, I have never danced so much at a festival! They were an amazing end to the main stage, leaving us all wanting more and with very sore throats from singing along.
All in all I had an amazing day and I can't wait for next year.
And just in case anyone was in doubt about how awesome my flower crown was...
