Hey all! Wow, this post has only taken literal months to write. My bad!!
For Chris' 30th Birthday we hopped on a plane and flew to Barcelona. The highlight of the trip was deffo Port Adventura! This place is ah-maz-ing.
As many of you probably already know, i'm a huge Disney fan. For me it's defiantly the standard by which I mark all other theme park. And Port Adventura has settled itself firmly into second place on the awesome theme park scale.
Now this place is huge, comfy shoes only guys. It's deceptively big. The large roller coasters don't seem that far away, turns out they are and they're just bloody huge.
The thrill rides were amazing; seriously, until you've ridden Shambhala you haven't experienced a true roller coaster experience.

I can't wait for the opportunity to come back here someday, I'd ride everything again!
We went at low season in October so we literally walked onto every ride. I can imagine that in the summer it would be crazy busy. It was still warm and lovely though, we did both days in shorts and t-shirts. Don't worry, it's nothing like the freezing cold, soaking wet experience you often get in England in October.
We bought our tickets in advance but honestly it's no more expensive than, say, Alton Towers, but you get way more bang for your buck.
Aw, looking at these photos makes me want to jump on a huge thrill ride and be chucked about a bit!
