Just take a moment to look at the beautifully wrapped products that arrived at my door. Just, oh wow.
I got a little excited over these ones guys. I don't normally buy high end makeup, me and highstreet makeup have a good thing going. But with the beautiful gold packaging and pumped up colours how could I resist these little beauties?

First thing I need to say is that this defiantly an investment buy and my card will not be getting a repeat performance like this ever again. I have saved for these little beauties and I will use and treasure them accordingly.
I decided to cover parts of the range that had held my interest the longest first, which are the lipsticks and the eyeshadows. Then I got a bit click happy and added a brush, concealer and lipliner too, but hey, i'm only human!! I know people really rave about the foundation but I have to be super careful with what goes on my skin in that way. I normally stick to BareMinerals or cheaper brands with theory that if it doesn't work I wont be upset that i've wasted loads of money on it.
The two main things that I really REALLY wanted though were the lipsticks. Guys, I have a lipstick obsession, there is no way around it. Someone spend hours on ASOS creating their dream wardrobe, some people add amazing shoes to Pintrest. I go on high end makeup sites and coo over lippy.
I have wanted Glastonberry for as long as I can remember, it is the colour that started my love affair with the brand. Recently though their website has been taken over by the shade The Queen, a beautiful rich pink shade, which just really grabbed my attention. I don't really wear pink lipstick, i'm always worried it'll make me look too young but I think this one is going to the perfect shade to get me over my pink lippy fear.
The other real investment buy for me in the lipliner, I bought it in a real true red shade so I can wear it with my hundreds of red lipsticks. With winter on its way and my lips needing more protection from the weather and hot chocolate consumption, I think this is going to be a makeup bag staple for a while.
Anyways, if you'd like to see more on what I thought and some swatches, check out my vid below.
