WORCESTER FINALLY HAVE A COMIC CON!!
*cough* I mean; Worcester has finally had the wonderfulness that is Comic Con come to it's wonderful city and I was a smidge excited about that.
I've had my ticket booked for this for months and honestly I was like a toddler on blue smarties before we got in there.
It didn't let me down.
Held at the Worcester Sports Arena (the big gold building that is not the Hive for fellow Worcester peeps ;) ), tickets were only £10 and it was super easy to get to. Hats off to the organisers, the whole thing ran super smoothly. The line was all the way around the building but the whole thing only took mins to get in, i've been to a few of these things so i'm always prepared to wait. It was a nice surprise to be whooshed inside!

So what did we have at Comic Con Worcester? Firstly we had;
Cosplayers - Including me!!! Yup, I finally did it, I did an actual Cosplay at a convention! I, of course, went as a Disney Princess. In this case I was Princess Anna and I absolutely loved it. I loved the way that little kids faces lit up when they saw their bit of Disney walking past them, I loved all the photos I had with starstruck little faces and I really loved all the warm hugs (look it up non-Frozen viewers) that I got to hand out. I have always loved Disney and I believe in the bit of magic it can bring, I was so chuffed to just be a small part of that for a few hours.
But, check out all the other Cosplayers I met! They all looked amazing. Saw a Thor (or two!), Rupunzle, The Doctor and half the crew of the Enterprise. If anyone has any photos from that day, tag me in them so I can get a closer look at the amazing costumes people put together :)

So what else did this lovely event have? Amazing stalls that's what!
I bought some lovely stuff here, my personal favourite were the large range of Disney hair bows and the jewellery that looked like gummy bears!
There was a great range of local business there too including Hide and Geek and my artist friend Jessica Taylor, I bought some of her art for our bedroom. I was very well restrained to come away with only one piece of her work, its super pretty and super addictive!
I must admit I spent a large part of my day prancing around being a Princess so I didn't pay quite as much attention to the stalls that I probably should have!

Annnnddd finally, this Comic Con had some amazing celebrity meet and greets! Did I do any? No, i'm a tight cow who is generally unwilling to part with money. I did look from afar and I did the typical point and stare when Chris Barrie (looking very dapper I must say) walked past me, the dwarfer in me wanted to pester the poor man but I honestly think he was trying to go to the loo in peace. I restrained myself so he wouldn't have to awkwardly stand there while I gushed and all he can think is "please leave me alone, I really really need the toilet". See, i'm nice like that.
